Rolling bearings made with GCr15 bearing steel generally require long-term use below 80°C, and below 120°C for a short time.

When the operating temperature of the bearing exceeds 150℃, high temperature tempering treatment of the ring and rolling elements is required to meet different working occasions.

If there are SO, S1, S2, S3, S4 marks in the code of the rolling bearing code,it means that the bearing rings and rolling elements have been specially heat-treated, which can be used at wording temparatuer of 150 ℃, 200 ℃, 250 ℃, 300 ℃ and 350℃. This heat treatment method can rise the service temperature of the bearing, but the hardness of the ring and rolling element will be reduce. It is recommended to use high temperature bearing steel to make the

High temperature bearings that can withstand temperatures between 500C

and 800C.

The high temperature bearing materials are divided into two categories: T-type steel high-temperature bearings and TC-type steel ceramic high-temperature bearings.

High temperature bearings

The materials are divided into two categories: T-type steel high-temperature

bearings and TC-type steel ceramic high-temperature bearings.

According to high temperature resistance there are three grades:

LT grade low temperature 300℃,

 T grade high temperature 500℃,

CT grade ultra high temperature 800℃.

And The main structure is:

full rolling element T00000 type ,self-lubricating T00000C type (under heavier load, the low speed is less than100 rpm, or medium speed when mounted flat), with cage TS00000 (high and

medium speed), sliding high temperature bearingTH00000 type (linear velocity less than or equal to 360 m/min) if the bearing has to withstand high temperatures above 300C. The price of such products is also higher than that of ordinary bearings.
